The nativity is the story of the birth of Jesus, and is celebrated at Christmastime. The story of the birth of Jesus in the manger, with Mother Mary, and Joseph. The shepherds brought their flock by night to celebrate.
The wise men brought gifts from the east. Gold, frankincense and myrrh, as blessings to the birth. And the angels watched over them all, guiding them, leading the way, keeping them safe.

This story is told in two books of the Bible, and was called a miraculous conception, and is foretold by a visit from an angel who appeared to Mary to let her know what was going to happen.
Churches all over the world celebrate this story with plays and gatherings. They will include the whole nativity scene complete sometimes with donkeys and cows, and even — angels!
