What a great idea for a nativity scene background. This is a plastic scene of 4 pieces that can cover an 8 foot high by 12 foot wide space. You just use Sticky Tack or tape to hold the scene up. It’s actually in 4 pieces. There’s a 4 foot high by 12 foot wide sky piece. And a 4 foot high by 12 foot wide desert piece. Then you can add the separate manger scene sheet with Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus if you want. And add the wise men piece separately too, if you want that piece in the scene. It’s a neat idea to create a backdrop.
Christmastime and the story of the nativity are very important times for all of us. Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus and their trip to Bethlehem. The wise men and the shepherds coming from the east and the west to pay homage to the baby. The angels worshipping from their places.

This is what we want to remember at Christmas. Not necessarily Santa Claus and the reindeer at the North Pole. Or putting on the snowman costume. Or the Christmas turkey dinner with family and presents and all that food. Or putting on a snowman costume. Although they are all a huge part of the holiday tradition. Perhaps we need to go back to the basics and just consider the real Christmas story again…
